LYNN’s Girl Central is THE BOMB!
If you have not attended, make it a point to. LYNN’S Girl Central is THE highlight of the festival. This dance party was created by festival founder LYNN BOVE. Lynn was a cherished, much loved, fearless, creative, funny, fun, stubborn, smart, wacky in a great way, member of the South Florida LGBTQ community. This dance party was renamed in her honor this year as we lost Lynn to ovarian cancer last year. A portion of the proceeds of the festival will be donated to local cancer research efforts in her name.
JOIN US! Women will take to the alley way to the beats and rhythms of some of the best DJs. Joined by men and whoever else chooses to be happy for the day; people pack this party and stay for hours in the thriving, hot, rhythmic jungle at its peak.
LYNN’s Girl Central is a fun, unique, energized, Hispanic/Latino/Latinx infused, salsa/EDM hopping, sticky mess of Miami special sauce. You can’t miss it!
AND – like everything else at the festival – it’s FREE! Be sure to support the bars marked Gay8 so that the festival can keep coming back year after year – hopefully better and stronger! All the money raised stays in our local South Florida community.
